I consider it a great honor and blessing to shepherd a local church where most of the people are eager to serve Jesus Christ and love one another.  As part of my pastoral ministry here, I write my faith family a brief letter each month. Sometimes the letter serves as a word of encouragement as we share each other’s burdens. Sometimes they are letters of celebration for what God is doing here. Sometimes we take up a doctrinal issue like “10 Characteristics of a Healthy Church.” Sometimes they are simply reminders of our purpose as we seek to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by fulfilling the Great Commission through the local church. And sometimes they are a potpourri of all of these.
